Bloomington, IL - Bloomington Bison General Manager and Head Coach Phillip Barski announced the team had claimed forward Mitch Walinski off waivers.


Walinski, 26, began the season skating in the ECHL with Adirondack Thunder for four games, accumulating two penalty minutes.


The Lincoln, Rhode Island native appeared in 49 games with the Atlanta Gladiators last season, posting 11 points (seven goals, four assists) with 32 penalty minutes.


The 6-foot-1, 180-pound forward dressed in 61 career NCAA games with Salve Regina University, collecting 65 points (37 goals, 28 assists) and 89 penalty minutes. In addition, Walinski played in 114 career NAHL games between the Bismarck Bobcats and Corpus Christi IceRays, totaling 70 points (43 goals, 27 assists) and 102 penalty minutes.

WOLF PACK ANNOUNCES 25-26 SCHEDULE

By: Alex Thomas, Hartford Wolf Pack HARTFORD, CT – The Hartford Wolf Pack, in conjunction with the American Hockey League (AHL), announced today the club’s full schedule for the 2025-26 season. The club’s 29th season begins on the road on Saturday, Oct. 11, 2025. The Wolf Pack will face off against the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins at the Mohegan Arena at Casey Plaza in Wilkes-Barre, PA, at 6:05 p.m. This marks the fourth consecutive season in which the Wolf Pack has opened on the road. The Pack is back at PeoplesBank Arena on Friday, Oct. 18, 2025, for the annual home opener. It’ll be the second of six meetings on the season with the Penguins. The puck drop is set for 7:00 p.m. Two teams return to the schedule for the 2025-26 season.
