WOLF PACK RECEIVES FIVE FROM RANGERS By: Alex Thomas, Hartford Wolf Pack HARTFORD, CT – New York Rangers President and General Manager Chris Drury announced today that the club has assigned forwards Jaroslav Chmelař, Adam Sýkora, and Kalle Väisänen and defensemen Jackson Dorrington and Case McCarthy to the AHL’s Hartford Wolf Pack. Chmelař, 22, appeared in 71 games with the Wolf Pack during the 2024-25 season. He recorded 29 points (12 g, 17 a), finishing sixth on the club in scoring. The native of Nove Mesto nad Metuji, Czechia, was selected in the fifth round, 144th overall, by the Rangers in the 2021 NHL Entry Draft. Sýkora, 21, scored a career-high nine goals, 21 assists, and 30 points in 71 games with the Wolf Pack a season ago. The native of Piestany, Slovakia, finished fifth on the Wolf Pack in scoring during the 2024-25 campaign. BISON SIGN FORWARDS DENIS AND ROBIDOUX By: Erik Konwinski, Bloomington Bison Bloomington, Ill. -  Bloomington Bison Head Coach and Vice President of Hockey Operations, Phillip Barski, announced today that the team has signed forwards Lou-Felix Denis and Mikael Robidoux to ECHL standard player contracts. Denis, 22, was acquired from the Reading Royals on March 2, 2025, after putting up 16 points (6g, 10a) in 50 games, and finished the season by adding 10 points (6g, 4a) in 18 games with the Bison. The 5-foot-10, 172-pound winger turned pro following a four-year junior career in the QMJHL, where he totaled 113 points (47g, 66a) in 197 games with the Shawinigan Cataractes and Halifax Mooseheads. Robidoux, 26, appeared in 13 games for the Bison after being acquired from the Greenville Swamp Rabbits on February 26, 2025. Before the start of camp, the Wolf Pack agreed to professional tryout agreements (PTO) with 13 players. Joining the club on a PTO are defensemen Parker Gavlas, Jae Seung Lee, Nick Carabin, Cullen Ferguson, and Theo Calvas, and forwards Brett Budgell, Chongmin Lee, Daniel Tedesco, Shane Ott, Mark Kaleinikovas, Mikael Robidoux, Liam Devlin, and Noah Kane. BISON SIGN FORWARD DANIEL TEDESCO By: Erik Konwinski, Bloomington Bison Bloomington, Ill. -  Bloomington Bison Head Coach Phillip Barski announced today that the team has signed forward Daniel Tedesco to an ECHL standard player contract for the 2025-26 season. Tedesco, 31, has a track record of both team and individual success over his last nine seasons of professional and international hockey. Last season, he won a World Championship (D1A) Silver Medal with Top Player on Team award honors for the Italian national team and registered 43 points (11g, 32a) in 52 games with the EIHL’s Guildford Flames. Over the last three years, the 6-foot-1, 192-pound winger played in 157 EIHL games and tabbed 170 points (62g, 108a) with the Flames and Belfast Giants. BISON ADD DADADZHANOV FOR 2025-26 SEASON By: Erik Konwinski, Bloomington Bison Bloomington, Ill. -  Bloomington Bison Head Coach Phillip Barski announced today that the team has signed defenseman Renat Dadadzhanov to an ECHL standard player contract for the 2025-26 season. Dadadzhanov, 26, was a midseason addition to the blueline during the 2024-25 campaign and played 19 games with the Bison after starting the season with the SPHL’s Peoria Rivermen. The Vladivostok, Russia, native recorded 10 points (2g, 8a) in 33 games for Peoria, and was second on the team in penalty minutes (81) when he signed with Bloomington. He brings winning experience to the Bison, having been a part of the 2023-24 President’s Cup-winning Rivermen squad. The 6-foot-3, 225-pound defenseman accumulated 24 penalty minutes and contributed two assists for the Bison down the stretch last season. By: Erik Konwinski, Bloomington Bison Bloomington, Ill. -  Bloomington Bison Head Coach Phillip Barski announced today that the team has signed forward Brett Budgell to an ECHL standard player contract. Budgell, 24, finished third in team scoring last season, registering 37 points (15g, 22a) in 47 games. The St. John’s, Newfoundland native tied the team record with an eight-game point streak (4g, 7a) from January 4 through January 25, 2026, and holds the record for the longest assist streak, which included a helper in seven of those eight games. Budgell also had the third-most multi-point games, with 11, and appeared in 11 games for the Hartford Wolfpack, recording four assists in his AHL stint. The 6-foot, 187-pound winger has played a total of 163 ECHL games, logging 119 points (45g, 74a) with the Bison, Iowa Heartlanders, and Newfoundland Growlers, and has skated in 30 AHL games with Hartford and the Iowa Wild. BISON ANNOUNCE OPEN HOUSE DETAILS

By: Erik Konwinski, Bloomington Bison Bloomington, Ill. - Bloomington Bison President Andy Zilch announced the team’s Open House event to be held on Wednesday, September 17, at Grossinger Motors Arena from 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m., officially kicking off the 2025-26 season.  The event will begin with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 4:30 p.m., in conjunction with the McLean County Chamber of Commerce and the City of Bloomington. The evening will also showcase upgrades throughout the arena, restaurant, and the new LED ribbon board.   Fans attending the event will have early access to Opening Night tickets, hear from Head Coach Phillip Barski at 6 p.m., and get access to brand new merchandise and jerseys for the 2025-26 season. In addition, locker room equipment will be exclusively available, and fans can shop the fire sale on last season’s merchandise.
