WOLF PACK HOST ANNUAL TEDDY BEAR TOSS SATURDAY

HARTFORD, CT –  The Hartford Wolf Pack are set to participate in one of the most exciting traditions of the hockey season this Saturday night when the club hosts their annual Teddy Bear Toss Game at the XL Center. The Wolf Pack will take on the Lehigh Valley Phantoms for the final time at the XL Center this season, with the puck drop set for 7:00 p.m. When the Wolf Pack scores their first goal of the night, fans are asked to throw a teddy bear or stuffed animal onto the ice! All teddy bears and stuffed animals thrown onto the ice will be donated to Toys for Tots and the Connecticut Children's Hospital. For children who do not make the game on Saturday night but are attending the game on Friday night, you are asked to bring a new or gently used teddy bear or stuffed animal to the game to donate for Saturday night. ...

WOLF PACK WEEKEND PREVIEW: NOVEMBER 30th, 2023

By: Alex Thomas, Hartford Wolf Pack HARTFORD, CT –  The Hartford Wolf Pack ended the month of November with two victories following the Thanksgiving holiday. The club has now rattled off four consecutive victories at the XL Center. Now, after a few days of practice and rest, the Wolf Pack is set to host a pair of home games to kick off the month of December. These will be the second and third games of a four-game homestand that concludes next Wednesday night when the Cleveland Monsters come to town. Friday, December 1st, 2023, Vs. Lehigh Valley Phantoms: The Phantoms come to town for a pair of games in their final visit to the Connecticut capital this season. Friday night will be the fourth of six overall meetings this season between the divisional opponents and the second of three in Hartford. The limited-time HHOF exhibit features exclusive artifacts showcasing 100 seasons of  Boston Bruins Hockey By: Kelly Masse, Hockey Hall Of Fame (HHOF) TORONTO (November 30, 2023) –  To celebrate the Boston Bruins’ milestone season, the Hockey Hall of Fame (HHOF) has opened a Boston Bruins Centennial exhibit that will run through the 2023-24 hockey season and into the 2024-25 hockey season with December 1, 2024, marking their 100th anniversary. With specially curated artifacts from 1926 to 2018, the display outlines the story of the first US-based NHL team to reach its Centennial and the third club overall. WOLF PACK ANNOUNCE RECALLS FROM CYCLONES

By: Alex Thomas, Hartford Wolf Pack HARTFORD, CT –  New York Rangers Assistant General Manager and Hartford Wolf Pack General Manager Ryan Martin announced today that the club has recalled forwards Matej Pekar and Cristiano DiGiacinto from loan to the ECHL's Cincinnati Cyclones. Pekar, 23, has appeared in 14 games with the Cyclones this season and scored 12 points (8 g, 4 a). This is his second season with the club after recording 24 points (13 g, 11 a) in 28 games a season ago. Pekar has skated in 86 career AHL contests with the Rochester Americans and collected 16 points (4 g, 12 a). He appeared in 14 games with the club during the 2022-23 campaign, scoring four assists. He also made his Calder Cup Playoff debut on April 28th, 2023, in a game against the Syracuse Crunch. It was his lone appearance in the 2023 Calder Cup Playoffs. RANGERS RECALLS PRESENT CHALLENGE FOR WOLF PACK

By: Gerry Cantlon, Howlings HARTFORD, CT -  The New York Rangers announced the club recalled Hartford forwards Jonny Brodzinski and Adam Edström and reassigned defenseman Connor Mackey back to the Wolf Pack. Brodzinski, 30, in 16 games, leads the Wolf Pack in both goals with 11 and points with 25. The 25 points lead the entire AHL, while his 11 goals tie him for fourth overall. The Minnesota native is in his fourth season with the Wolf Pack. He has been the club's captain for three of those four years. In 113 games with Hartford, Brodzinski has collected 56 goals and 73 assists for 129 points. Brodzinski has skated in 313 AHL contests with the Wolf Pack, San Jose Barracuda, and Ontario Reign in his minor pro career. He's scored 126 goals and complied 141 assists for 267 points. Brodzinski has skated in 102 NHL games between the Rangers, San Jose Sharks, and Los Angeles Kings. By: Gerry Cantlon, Howlings HARTFORD, CT -  The Hartford Wolf Pack defeated the Bellville Senators 4-3 in Overtime, riding Riley Nash's late-game heroics and Brennan Othmann's two goals at the XL Center on Saturday. The Senators, last in the AHL North Division, sure didn't play that way. "Teams like that, you don't play a lot. Early on, it's a feeling-out process," Nash said in the post-game press conference. "We played well in the second period). They took it to us in the third, but we stood our ground, and  G  (Garand) made big saves for us." Nash said his approach to overtime play has a "science" to it. "You always hope to catch somebody flat-footed," he said while holding his son Rett in his lap.
